Podcast Basics For Black Creek MLM Business Bloggers

Today’s Black Creek direct selling article is for Black Creek internet rookies who want to kick up their web marketing a notch by adding a podcast to their Black Creek home business blog.

A podcast is a multimedia file that is downloaded for playback on a mobile device such as an iPod or laptop computer. It can be a digital recording of a radio program or, more often, a program produced solely for online distribution. A podcast can be a recording of a webcast: a live Black Creek program that is ‘streamed’ or broadcast on the internet in real time. When this is the case, it is similar to a DVD recording of a live program that you store in the database of your playback device.

A related term is the acronym RSS which probably originally stood for Rich Site Summary feed but is sometimes used for Really Simple Syndication. You have probably seen the term RSS on websites. An RSS feed allows digital files to be downloaded in a standard format. Lucama podcast listeners often subscribe to favorite ongoing podcasts. When new podcasts are produced, they are automatically downloaded by RSS applications.

It is fairly simple hardware- and software-wise to product your own podcast for your Black Creek online business. Your laptop may already have recording capability. If not, you can buy any equipment you need in the Lucama area.

‘How-To’ Market Your Wilson Home Based Business

'How-To' Market Your Wilson Home Based Business Some Wilson online or MLM business owners don’t understand the power of How-To’s in generating content for their Wilson online business blogs or e-stores.

If you are selling Xocai Xe (as I am) or selling a financial opportunity like the Xocai Xe home based business opportunity (as I am also) you have experience describing the benefits of your product and opportunity to potential customers.

If you have been running your Xocai Xe online business for a while, perhaps you have personalized your demos to make them more compelling for your target market. If potential Lucama customers relate to you and your experience, they will be more likely to purchase your product or join your North Carolina network marketing team.

If you can explain how you perform a task with your product or service, or how your product solves a problem, you can document this process to create a How-To article or video.

It’s easy:

  1. Perform the steps in the process, and write them down.
  2. Edit them for clarity and add personal details about how this process has benefited you or your customers.
  3. End with a quick summary.

For example, a How-To article describing how to sign up to own your own Xocai Xe home based business opportunity would include:

Make The Most Out Of Story Time In Wilson

Wilson parents know that reading with children is essential to their academic success and development, but not all storybook sessions are as productive as others in building literacy skills. Wilson, Elm City, and Black Creek parents don’t need to worry, because a few simple guidelines can help your kids get the most from story time.

Instead of zooming through one picture book after another, take time to pause and allow your child to process the story.

Ask questions like, ‘What do you think will happen next?’ or ‘How did that make [the main character] feel?’ Enjoy the artwork and see what your child can infer from the pictures.

Beginning readers can point to each word as you read together. This will help them recognize that letters make up words and words make up sentences and they will get used to punctuation conventions.

Lucama parents may have to work to curb their boredom since kids love repetition and may ask for the same book over and over again. This is normal and healthy for younger kids, but if you have any concerns about their development, you should consult your Wilson pediatrician.

As kids get older you can ask more probing questions such as, ‘What was the most interesting part of the book?’ or ‘What is the setting of the story?’ There are also great opportunities for discussions about problems and solutions as well as themes and morals in almost all stories.

Wilson Teens At Risk For Eating Disorders

Hello! Welcome to the Wilson children’s health blog. I am MXI Chocolate Marketer Adam Green. At this site, I publish information on nutrition and health issues that affect Wilson children and families. My goal is to improve the state of children’s health in the Lucama area.

Despite decades of increased awareness in Lucama about the dangers of a distorted body image and extreme dieting, eating disorders are still a serious problem.

A recent American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) study revealed disturbing facts about eating disorders among children.1 According to the report, 0.5 percent of teenage girls in the country are estimated to have anorexia. The bulimia rate among adolescent girls is estimated at more than double that at 1 to 2 percent. Though anorexia and bulimia are usually thought of as a problem for adolescents, Wilson parents should be aware that even young Lucama children are at risk, as well as males, though the rates are lower.

North Carolina pediatricians can help Wilson parents with children affected by an eating disorder. The AAP recommends a combination approach for the treatment of eating disorders in children. Treatment plans usually include nutritional guidance and psychiatric counseling along with the appropriate medical care.

Health Benefits of Wilson Dirt!

Most Wilson parents know about the health benefits of gardening as a family: spending time outdoors, working together, establishing a connection to the food we eat, better nutrition, and many more.

Something not so well known in Wilson is that the dirt itself contains beneficial bacteria that can aid in depression, cognitive functioning, and even in fighting some cancers.

Working with soil in Wilson – digging, pulling weeds, harvesting vegetables – exposes North Carolina kids and parents to a strain of bacteria called mycobacterium vaccae. Recent research reveals that m. vaccae triggers the release of seratonin, which can elevate mood and reduce stress.

In one study, two groups of mice were fed peanut butter sandwiches before finding their way through a difficult maze. One of the groups had m. vaccae spread on the sandwiches. The mice that ingested the bacteria ran the maze twice as fast and exhibited half as many stress behaviors as the mice that didn’t have the bacteria.

Think of Wilson kids in the ‘good ole’ days,’ running around on unpaved roads, playing in meadows, forests, and dirt piles, and half of the time probably bare-foot. It is quite a different childhood than the sanitized version that exists in our society today. Children not only need more time out-of-doors, but they need to get dirty! Let your Wilson neighbors hear you yell: ‘Kids, go outside and get dirty!’

Dehydration Can Trigger Tantrums In Wilson

Most Wilson parents have experienced a tantrum or meltdown with their children. My kids usually lose it when they are hungry or need a nap. Some kids flip out if their routine is altered. My Lucama co-worker claims her kids get crazy when there is a full moon.

Lack of sleep and low blood sugar are the usual suspects causing irritability in my Lucama child, but a new study in the Journal of Nutrition points the finger at another culprit.1 Dehydration seems to lead to a low mood in healthy women. The study only included young women, but I did a little experiment on my own kids and noticed when they were mildly dehydrated they were fatigued and irritable.

Fun Peanut Butter Snacks For Lucama Kids

Healthy, growing children need to snack between meals for proper nutrition. Most Wilson parents have probably had the experience of forgetting an afternoon snack. What happens? Kids finally notice they’re hungry about an hour before dinner, and boy is it hard to wait!

A great snack ingredient is peanut butter. It is an inexpensive source of protein and calories and gives Wilson children the nutrients they need to grow and to stay healthy.

Here are some great healthy snack ideas using peanut butter for Elm City and Black Creek kids.

Peanut Butter Banana Pops

Bananas, cut in half width-wise
Popsicle sticks
Peanut butter
Chopped nuts, sprinkles, or other topping

Take the popsicle sticks and push them carefully into the cut bananas. Spread peanut butter over the bananas and roll in nuts or other topping. Freeze. Enjoy.

Peanut Butter Balls

This is the kind of recipe you can’t really mess up, and the portions are approximate.

about 1 cup of peanut butter
a few tablespoons of honey (2-3)
a few tablespoons of instant dry milk

Mix everything together until it forms a large ball. Pinch off small pieces of dough, and roll into ball shapes. Store in the refrigerator, and pull them out at snack time.

Homemade Heat Pack For Lucama Kids

Lucama parents are great at helping their children stay healthy and safe. Today on the Wilson Children’s Health Blog, we wanted to give parents another way to help their kids: homemade heat packs. These easy-to-make heat packs are great for growing pains, sore muscles, or just some extra coziness at bedtime.

To start, simply go to any fabric store in the Wilson, Elm City, or Black Creek area and choose some fabric (actually, you could even use an old t-shirt, fabric scraps, or a sock you have lying around). Cut two layers of the fabric one inch bigger than the desired size of the heat pack you would like for your child. A long rectangular shape is usually best.

Next, starting with one of the long sides, sew along the edges making sure to leave room for the seam allowance. Leave one short end open and fill the bag 2/3 full of rice. You can add a few drops of essential oil or herbs (these can be found at most Wilson natural food stores) to give the heat pack a pleasant odor for your child. Tie the bag off at the open end with some cotton string, or stitch it shut, and you’re done!

When your ready to use it, be safe by only heating it in the microwave for one minute. Check to see if it’s warm enough, then add time in short increments from there. If your kids prefer a cold pack in the summer, these bags can go in the freezer to chill for a spell.

If you want to get extra fancy, any Wilson, Elm City, or Black Creek fabric store would have interesting trimmings to add. But remember to avoid ribbons that have metal wire in them.

Food labels can be confusing for Lucama parents wanting to buy the most nutritious food possible for their families. The word ‘natural’ can convey wholesomeness–but that’s not always the case.

Look for more specific food labels like ‘organic’ which means, in fruits and vegetables, that the food is grown without pesticides. Some evidence suggests that organic fruits and vegetables contain higher amounts of vitamin C and other nutrients than non-organic.

The organic label on poultry, meat, and dairy means that no antibiotics, hormones, or pesticides are given to the animals, and the livestock are given only organic feed. ‘Organic’ livestock also must have access to the outdoors, and disease is prevented through natural methods.

‘Natural’ isn’t a term regulated by the FDA, so products with this label may still contain additives. Instead, look for the USDA organic badge, a guarantee that there is no high fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated oil, genetically modified ingredients, or artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners.

Lucama children and infants are the most vulnerable to hormone and pesticide exposure due to their less-developed immune systems and their still-developing brains and bodies. Lucama parents who provide organic food support their child’s health now and in the future.
